ROEs for Viking Games
ROEs for Viking Games
Okay. So not everyone is a Viking, nor are they Thor, Son of Odin, God of Thunder, Asgardian, Chris Helmsworth, and whatever else. But we are all warriors in our own rights. This is a list of some Viking themed, warrior activities that we like to play with our friends and family. We hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoy doing them! These are perfect for servicemembers with weekend liberty and bored firefighters who need a reason to NOT film themselves doing the Harlem Shake or the Milk-Mouth Challenge. Yeah... maybe, don't look that last one up (face palm moment). Anyways, we hope you enjoy these not so gross, but absolutely fun and competitive games.

Dreygur’s Cure
2 players minimum.
2 rows, 3 stations, 3 long sticks, and 6 tootsie rolls is all you need to feel like a Nordic zombie.
This is an obstacle relay where your speed is not always your friend. Imagine tootsie rolls could cure any illness. Well, you’re going to the Netherworld to recover that cure and bring it home… or so you hope!
You have three stations that you must advance to, and then turn around and walk back to “Midgard.” At each station you will pick up a stick and add a tootsie to the end of each stick. Your hands may only touch the sticks at each station to place a tootsie roll on the ends of each stick. Using the back of your arms (palms to the sky) you will carry each stick without dropping the tootsie roll. At each station you will add a stick with tootsie rolls. Once you’ve reached the side of the “Netherworld,” you can risk putting all your sticks down to shake out your arms or you can simply turn around and make your way back to “Midgard.” If at any time, your sticks drop, you must return to the last station, whether you lose one stick or all three.
The first person to cross back into “Midgard” with all 3 sticks and 9 tootsie rolls, wins.
Fenrir’s Game
2 players minimum.
Anyone can play tic-tac-toe, but what about with a disc?
Bobbing for Apples
1 player at a time.
Play this in the summer, because it’s hot outside and apples are delicious.
